Before every sacred bath I say a prayer to balance the elements in my bath, relationship, self and world. This is the prayer in my book.

What are the elements and how are they represented in a sacred bath?

Water represents our emotions, we are 70% water and water is the great connector. Water is what we bathe in in our sacred bath.

Earth is represented by the salt, essential oils and herbal teas that we drink.

Fire is represented by the candle we pray to.

Air is represented by using sage to clear the space, incense or air mist spray that holds a particular energy.

Spirit is represented by our prayer and meditation.

When these elements are in balance, we feel whole.

By doing this process each morning we acknowledge these parts of ourselves in harmony which is a quick and easy alignment tool and a great way to start your day!
