The Having a Narrow Focus Bath

Today I took a sacred bath and was told by my Guardian angel that it was important to have a narrow focus when wanting to be successful.

She showed me how I lost 25 pounds last year by focusing on a narrow path full of details. I had an app where I recorded my water intake, another for calories instead of guessing, I exercised and logged it and ate specific healthy foods and measured myself every few weeks. Now I felt I had the general idea and I’ve maintained most of my weight loss but now I’m not progressing further towards my goal. I stopped exercising and measuring myself too.

I wanted to make progress on the marketing of my upcoming book and had a list of ideas but it made my hectic days with my kids with work and kids. I had done some blogs but felt overwhelmed by how much there was to do. Today the maintenance people were building something in my room so I had to be home most of the day. So, I made a list of all the bookstores and libraries in the area and put it all in one binder so I could focus on that and I got a lot done until my kids came home. My guides told me that it would be best to sit with that binder and add to it for an hour or two a day. It would all be in one place. My mom also used to say that I should just focus on one thing at a time and do it really well.

After 4 today it was very hard to focus on completing anything even though I had a babysitter until 7. I always spend an hour with them and then have coaching calls but if I try and do anything else they are always noisy or calling me. I realized for that hour I could just focus on them.

Even with my sacred baths, I had been taking them to relax but sometimes I would make them extra short for a practical reason or wouldn’t have a clear focus so my guidance wasn’t as clear. I was shown that I was watering down the magic and connection when I do this.

My son wasn’t doing well on his 2nd grade tests because he finished them in 20 minutes when they were 2 hour tests. His teacher said he was very smart and read above grade level but didn’t want to focus too long and take his time with the details.

I decided to take on this theme for the month and to notice my progress in each domain when I handled things carefully one at a time instead of multi-tasking. Maybe you can try it too.

Happy bathing!
